As I’m sure you know, at lot has happened at ThinkSpace in 2018. This blog is to clue you in on all the good (and bad) news!
Congratulations to a number of students for their significant success in the first months of 2018. If you’re one of them, get in touch below and we’ll add you to our list!
Firstly, Professional Media Composition Alumni, Curtis Heath, landed both a McDonalds and an Audi commercial, to compose for just one would be truly exceptional given the sheer size of these companies and the calibre of competition Heath would have faced.
Secondly, Michael Maas, a current Game Audio student and full-time Composer, recently completed a now released trailer for Electronic Arts’ Battlefield One! Michael Maas is one to watch, and this trailer is remarkable. Watch the full video below.
Lastly, a huge congratulations to Sarah Lutz’ for her involvement in the epic Netflix western ‘Godless’. Her desire to create amazing music is an inspiration to us all; and we’re particularly proud to see more women finding their feet in the industry.
Lastly, to all you aspiring Composers looking for your first big break, we’ve been meeting with a plethora of industry influencers and successful composers throughout March and will soon be releasing an unmissable guide on how to stay ahead of the curve, and get work as a Composer in 2018.
THE BATTLE OF THE BRASS
They’re back baby
The bad news
If you enrolled onto one of our advanced courses BEFORE TODAY and got both volumes at the same time, you might have missed out of this…
The good news? It’s back, and you can now enrol onto Music for The Media Volume 1 and 2 at a hugely discounted rate. For almost a year we weren’t able to offer this because of the costs associated with the professional composers that conduct the courses and give you feedback on your work; but as of March 2018 they’re back and better than ever.
