How to Apply for a UK Master’s Loan

Guide To The Application Workflow

Step 1: Make an account on the UK government's Student Finance website. https://www.gov.uk/student-finance-register-login
Step 2: Select Apply for Student Finance

Step 5: Select Master’s
Image
Step 6: You will be asked to answer some questions about yourself. It is important you do this honestly and accurately. The start dates for the course will be September and January, depending on when you are applying. For these upcoming intakes, it will be September 2020 and September 2021.
Step 7: This now comes to the main bulk of your student finance application. You will need:
  • Your UK Passport Details.
  • Your University and course name.
  • Your address details for the 3 years before the start of your course.
    • Your National Insurance Number.
  • Your UK Bank Account details.
Address details of a family member or friend SFE can use to contact if they cannot go hold of you.

During this process, you will be asked to name the university you are studying with. Type in our institute 'ThinkSpace Education'.
